Leonie Amsler is an architect and printmaker who specialises in natural prints with her design studio Atelier Mirla. The wild plants she uses for them come from local forests and meadows and are put on paper in the print studio in Basel using copper plate and oil paint. Each print is unique and a physical imprint of nature.
For TGIFW, an abstract nature print of wild grasses was created in autumn 2022 - an exploration of our earth, realised with the tools of manual printmaking. Two exclusive carpet designs were created from the nature prints.

NORU (Seohyun Salur) is an interdisciplinary designer who takes spontaneity as a tool to explore the notion of to be empty and to be filled. Her foundational works are paper collages which she translates into different forms of art and design. In her work, void spaces are not empty places but rooms that host imagination so that they become landscapes of ever-changing relationships.
She has collaborated with a few textile brands in Switzerland. Textile for home, especially carpet is the main object she chose to have discourse with, about expansion of imagination through void. In her design projects, a carpet becomes a very centrepiece of a space that houses personal memories within.

"It is very important to me to be able to work for a Swiss label where quality comes before quantity and fair production conditions prevail".
